Pattie Hopkins Kinlaw of Hank, Pattie, & The Current just released a second album “Hold Your Head Up High” this past summer! Pattie Kinlaw is a Suzuki Violin Teacher in Winterville, NC and former Suzuki student and does a beautiful job with fiddle and vocals on this album.
The official release celebration is on September 22,2017 at the beautful Fletcher Theater in downtown Raleigh.

Congratulations to Greenville, NC Rachel Talbott Parker for being selected as the newest NC Suzuki Association President! Mrs. Parker graduated from the ECU Suzuki Pedagogy program and is an active Suzuki teacher and freelance musician in Eastern NC. She is looking forward to continuing to build unity and encourage participation in the statewide NC Suzuki Community. She has some big plans for the 2017-2018 year, and you can find more information on their website: ncsuzuki.org!

Caroline Adelaide Shaw is a New York City-based violinist, singer, and composer. She was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2013 for her a cappella piece Partita for 8 Voices. She began her violin studies with her mother and continued with Joanne M. Bath. She tours and performs as a violinist and as a member of the vocal group “Roomful of Teeth.”
